From the Beginning

First Choice Care was founded by Guy Howlett after many years working in the healthcare sector. Guy recognised the need for a nursing agency that could understand the needs of nurses and facilities from both a professional and a clinical perspective and with an emphasis on flexibility and great customer service.

As one of Australia’s leading Nursing Agencies, First Choice Care works to place thousands of nurses into hospitals and aged care facilities right across Queensland and Victoria.

With the current nursing and medical staff shortage, we provide a valuable service – not only to hospitals but also to the wider community they serve.

Our team consists of call centre staff based in both Queensland and Victoria, nursing recruiters and consultants and payroll officers. Each of our staff members have a unique working knowledge of the healthcare industry and are committed to the needs of nurses – flexibility, achieving a good work/life balance and support.
