First Choice Care was founded after we recognised the need for a nursing agency that could understand the needs of nurses and facilities from both a professional and a clinical perspective and with an emphasis on flexibility and great customer service.

Sara - Recruitment Services
Sara is First Choice Care’s Recruitment Manager. Having recently joined the First Choice team Sara really hit the ground running. In addition to being a Registered Nurse since 1998 with a passion for ICU and Day Surgery, Sara has been involved in Nurse Recruitment since 2002 and has a flair for teaching and mentoring others.
Sara’s drive for quality nursing remains strong and her commitment to developing nursing practice is an exciting addition to strengthen the care provided by First Choice Care to its Nursing staff. Sara’s belief is the recruitment team should be focused on the recruitment of exceptional nurses and the retention, on-going development and support of those nurses.
Sara sees herself as a pivotal member of the First Choice team and looks forward to working with all our great nurses. Sara’s twin boys keep her busy outside of work and she loves to live life to the full, often at FSA – Full Speed Ahead.

Jan – Call Centre Services
Customer Service Centre’s are buzzing places and at First Choice Care no truer words are spoken. As the Call Centre Manager Jan has her hands full and relishes in matching up both our facilities and our nurses. Some may call it a perfect match, Jan certainly thinks so.
Jan has been with First Choice Care since 2007; she knows and understands what her Nursing Staff need. Whether it be a quiet debrief or giving directions to one of her Nurses to help them navigate around a facility. The First Choice Care phones ring hot, the e-mails fire in and the Call Centre team are primed ready to help.
Jan and her team know and understand the Healthcare facilities: a simple motto, right Nurse, right Shift, their Choice, First Choice.
