Tell us a bit about yourself
Currently in a committed relationship with cheese and wine. Don’t tell Gym.
Since working in the Remote and Rural Team and hearing Michael’s daily dad jokes, I have developed a lot of self-control when it comes to avoiding eyerolls.
What is your role at First Choice Care?
As the Admin for the R&R Team, I work closely with Michael and Kayla to ensure our nurses are onboarded fast and compliantly with all paperwork in order. Swimming in this amount of paperwork daily has left me with more than a few paper cuts…
What do you love most about your job?
I thrive on putting chaos into order. It could be the OCD, or maybe it’s Maybelline….either way, I know that onboarding can be frustrating for nurses, particularly when they’re on the road, so I enjoy being able to make this process simpler for them.
What do you see as the biggest opportunity for the nursing sector?
I think the nursing sector has really had a spotlight shone on it this year, and has shown many people just how important nurses are which creates opportunity for nurse development in these uncertain times as frontline workers upskill to deal with a rapidly changing climate.
Who’s someone you really admire?
Anyone who can wear white and not spill anything on themselves.
What do you like to do on your days off?
Beach whenever possible and travel wherever and whenever I can… but at the moment, it mainly consists of eating cheese and drinking wine.
