At First Choice Care, we want to celebrate our amazing nurses! So, we will be announcing a nurse of the month, every month. This nurse will be kind, caring and compassionate and be reliable and dedicated to our nursing agency.


Congratulations Colleen W. you have been nominated as our nurse of the month for August 2022! Colleen is an all-rounder that works both in our metro pool as well as one of our go to clinical facilitators. She is a great advocate for First Choice Care. Read what Colleen loved most about us:


What do you like most about FCC?


I like the support and encouragement FCC gives me to enable me to do my job and the flexibility agency nursing gives, consequently giving me the opportunity to learn a variety of nursing skills.


Why did you want to be a nurse?


I wanted to be a nurse to be a part of healthcare, to contribute to and make a difference, no matter how small in people’s lives.


What has been the highlight of working with FCC?


The highlights with FCC are many but all the amazing people I meet out in the clinical field and the supportive staff of FCC.


Would you recommend FCC to other nurses and why?


I definitely recommend everyone to work with FCC. The team at both the office and on the field are fantastic.
