The nurse of the month for July is Julie! Congratulations Julie. She is one of our Aged Care nurses for Brisbane North and the Sunshine Coast. Each week she travels down from Gympie for her shifts, always excited and passionate about her job. Julie is an absolute pleasure to work with. You can learn more about what Julie loves about working with FCC below.

What do you like most about FCC?

Flexibility of shifts, friendliness of staff and being able to contact staff whenever needed.

Why did you want to be a nurse?

I became a nurse as I used to work as an OSO and saw other nurses working, which inspired me take this career path. As a nurse I love hearing stories from residents and getting to know there history and the diversity of cultures.

What has been the highlight of working with FCC?

The support, friendliness and the quick response to any questions or queries. A big shout out to all the help from Hayley and Tait.

Would you recommend FCC to other nurses and why?

I would and have recommended FCC to others while working in the field as a nurse.
