Terms & Conditions

  • Refer a Friend - Rural & Remote

    • The referral bonus of $500 each ($1,000 in total) will be paid via payroll (please remember that tax and super legislative requirements apply) once the recommended candidate commences with First Choice Care and completes a 6-week First Choice Care Rural and Remote contract.
    • The referred candidate must have a minimum of 12 months clinical experience to be eligible
    • If the referred candidate’s contract is cancelled this is NOT included as a contract worked
    • This offer runs indefinitely but is subject to change at the discretion of First Choice Care.
    • Referrals can be made by active First Choice Care staff members only
    • You CAN refer more than one friend, but both must meet the requirements
    • If you think your referred friend has met the eligibility requirements and you have not been paid, please let us know immediately
    • The referred candidate must be a new candidate (Registered Nurse, Midwife or Enrolled Nurse) who hasn’t previously introduced to or worked for First Choice Care in the last 2 years. Unless the candidate has applied more than 6 months + ago and was unsuccessful
    • All referral rewards are at the discretion of First Choice Care
    • NOT valid with any other offer unless specified by First Choice Care
    • First Choice Care reserves the right to extend or end this promotion.
  • Living Away from Home Allowance (LAFHA)

    • LAFHA Offer for Nurses taking on Rural and Remote Contracts
    • LAFHA is available to Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and Midwives who undertake Rural and Remote contracts with FCC across all states and territories.
    • The allowance is paid weekly in line with the FCC payroll cycle and is pro-rata for part-week contracts.
    • LAFHA eligibility applies to Rural and Remote contracts only.
    • Nurses currently on contract will continue to receive the terms agreed upon at the time of placement.
    • All benefits and allowances are at FCC’s discretion and may be amended or withdrawn at any time.
    • This offer cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions unless explicitly approved by FCC.
  • $500 New Zealand Flight Reimbursement

    • New Registered Nurses (RNs) and Midwives (RMs) who successfully sign up with FCC’s Rural and Remote division are eligible to be reimbursed up to AU$500 for their flight to Australia (Queensland, Northern Territory, or New South Wales) from New Zealand.
    • This offer runs from the 8th of June 2021 – indefinitely. 
    • RNs and RMs must have never completed a Rural and Remote Contract with FCC or previously worked with FCC.
    • The eligible RN or RM must complete an 8-week (or more) contract with FCC’s Rural and Remote division.
    • The reimbursement will be paid after the completion of the 8-week (or more) contract.
    • In the event of an early contract cancelation by the nurse or facility, the travel incentive will not be reimbursed.
    • The eligible nurse must provide flight details and costs.
    •  ONLY up to AU$500 will be reimbursed from your single flight cost.
    • All promotions are at the discretion of FCC’s Rural and Remote division.
    • FCC’s Rural and Remote division reserves the right to end this promotion at any given time.
