Due to continued growth within our Clinical Facilitation Division, we are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in clinical facilitation or providing education to join our team in Sydney city.
About the Role
This role is responsible for coordinating and supporting Clinical Facilitators who supervise university nursing students during their clinical placements across the Greater Sydney region.
You will be a key stakeholder, working closely with universities, Clinical Facilitators, and internal teams to ensure student placements are supported by high-quality facilitators and delivered smoothly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Facilitation Coordination
- Liaise with university clinical placement teams to coordinate Clinical Facilitators for student placements
- Allocate facilitators to appropriate clinical placement areas in line with university requirements
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to Clinical Facilitators throughout placements
- Assist with resolving placement or facilitator concerns when they arise
- Conduct interviews and onboarding for new Clinical Facilitators
- Work closely with the compliance team to ensure all facilitators remain compliant with regulatory and organisational requirements
- Maintain strong relationships with a pool of Clinical Facilitators across Sydney
- Ensure facilitators are supported and engaged throughout their placements
- Assist with recruitment and growth of the Clinical Facilitator workforce as demand increases
- Support universities by providing reliable facilitator coverage for placements
- Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years’ clinical experience
- Clinical facilitation or nurse education experience highly regarded
- Highly motivated with strong attention to detail
- At least 12 months’ experience within the Australian healthcare system
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and experience supporting or managing a workforce- highly desirable
- Passion for supporting student nurses and contributing to nursing education
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident using computer systems
