A Nursing Clinical Facilitator is a registered nurse involved in current nursing practice, who support nursing students in their off campus clinical practice through engagement and development of their knowledge, attitude, and clinical skills necessary for their level of experience.
At First Choice Care Nursing Agency, we have been providing Clinical Facilitators to universities and tertiary education providers, assisting in guiding the next generation of nurses and helping to shape their future in their chosen profession.
Due to extremely high demand, we are seeking Clinical Facilitators throughout all of Melbourne & Greater Victoria areas to add to our existing exceptional team.
About you
To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will not only hold a passion for learning and sharing of your nursing experience with students, but you will also hold the following essential skills and experience:
- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
- An unrestricted AHPRA registration
- A Bachelor of Nursing degree
- Comfortable working in Aged Care
- Demonstrated high level of verbal communication and interpersonal skills with ability to consult, negotiate and liaise with individuals, clinical and educational teams to achieve required outcomes
- Demonstrated high level written communication skills to a very high standard with ability to effectively draft, edit and proof documentation and complete written assessment and evaluation forms on students
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective problem-solving strategies to find solutions to issues whilst utilising high level organisational skills
- Previous experience in Clinical Facilitation, Nursing Education, training and/or teaching (desirable)
- Completion of Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent (desirable)
- Completion of post graduate study (desirable)
