Nurse of the Month: July 2026

August 25, 2026

This July, we celebrated Anna, one of our dedicated Acute RNs, who works across both hospital and prison health settings with First Choice Care.

Anna has been a valued member of the First Choice Care team, and it’s clear that the flexibility, support and personal approach she receives from the team are a big part of what makes her experience so positive.

A Flexible Approach to Nursing

When asked what she enjoys most about working with First Choice Care, Anna says it’s the flexibility and support she receives when choosing her shifts and facilities.

“FCC is always good to me and always do the utmost best to do what suits me with shifts and facilities I go to.”

For a nurse working across different healthcare environments, having a team that understands her preferences and works with her availability makes a real difference.

Advice That Stays With You

When asked about the best piece of advice she’s received during her nursing career, Anna shared a simple but powerful message from a patient:

“Don’t get old and take each day as it is.”

It’s a reminder that some of the most meaningful lessons in nursing can come directly from the people we care for,  and that every day is worth making the most of.

Why Anna Recommends First Choice Care

Anna would happily recommend First Choice Care to other nurses, particularly because of the support and flexibility she experiences.

“FCC do everything they can to accommodate what suits me in relation to shifts. [They] are always friendly and caring and so supportive.”

Thank you, Anna, for the care, commitment and professionalism you bring to every shift. We’re proud to have you as part of the First Choice Care nursing community.

Congratulations, Anna, our Nurse of the Month for July 2026!
