As a Registered Nurse in residential aged care, you’ll play a vital role in supporting older Australians to live with dignity, independence, and compassionate care. With shifts available across facilities throughout the Gold Coast, you’ll enjoy the flexibility to balance work and life while making a meaningful difference each day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering safe, person-centred nursing care to aged care residents
- Supporting residents with daily routines, wellbeing, and clinical needs
- Monitoring and reporting changes in resident health
- Administering medications and treatments in line with care plans
- Supervising and working alongside care staff to ensure high-quality outcomes
- Upholding the Aged Care Quality Standards in all care delivery
- Minimum 988 hours of recent aged care experience in the last 12 months (no new graduates)
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Current National Police Clearance
- Up-to-date immunisation history
- Australian work rights
- Ability to adapt quickly to new facilities and environments
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organisational skills
- Strong working knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards
