Aid in the prenatal, delivery and postnatal care of newborns and their mothers by working as a Registered Midwife in private and NSW public hospitals

As a Registered Midwife, you’ll play a vital role in supporting women, newborns, and their families through pregnancy, labour, and the postpartum period. With a large client base across private and NSW public, you’ll enjoy the flexibility to choose from a wide range of shifts or take advantage of advanced bookings in public hospitals for a more consistent schedule.

Shift Day and Times:  Monday to Sunday AM PM ND

Duties may include:  
  • Providing safe, evidence-based midwifery care through prenatal, delivery, and postnatal stages 
  • Supporting and counselling women and families through labour and recovery 
  • Monitoring and assessing the wellbeing of mothers and newborns 
  • Administering medications and treatments, including neonatal resuscitation 
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care

About You: 
You’re a compassionate, adaptable midwife who remains calm under pressure and provides reassurance to families during some of their most important moments. With strong clinical expertise and excellent communication, you’re committed to safe, high-quality care in both fast-paced and nurturing environments. 

To be successful, you will have:
  • Minimum 1 year of recent (within last 12 months) clinical experience (1,976 total hours)  
  • Bachelor of Midwifery
  • Current, unrestricted AHPRA certification
  • Work rights in Australia
  • A Valid National Police Check
  • Current NSW Employee Working with Children’s Check
  • Up-to-date Vaccinations
  • Basic Life Support / Practical CPR Certification
  • Evidence of training in post-partum haemorrhage management and neonatal resuscitation 
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong observational and leadership abilities 
  • Ability to work independently and within a team 
  • Calm, professional approach with a commitment to quality patient care
